NON-IMMIGRANT VISA PROCESSING

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

2. Croatia has not joined EU nor Schengen area yet. However, the Government of the Republic of Croatia has brought a decission on December 7, 2011 on
temporarily relieved entry for aliens on the base of valid Schengen permits of stay and double and multiple entry visas during period from
January 1, 2012 until December 31, 2012.
This means that all aliens who hold Valid Schengen Double or multiple entry Visa or Schengen Stay Permit (which has to be valid during their period of
stay in Croatia, of course), do not need to issue Croatian Visa to temporary visit (up to 90 days) or transit the country during the above mentioned period.

DETAILED EXPLANATION OF DOCUMENTATION
Purpose of stay
- Original guarantee letter of the person in Croatia, legalized by the public notary
- Original guarantee letter of the company in Croatia, legalized by the official stamp and signed by the person who represents the company
- Confirmation of the paid tourist arrangement, hotel reservation and/or organized tourist trip, etc.
Secured place of stay
- Hotel reservation
- Proof of renting or owning a house/apartment in Croatia, etc.
Secured expenses of stay
- Cash in convertible value (USD or Euro)
- Travel cheques
- Credit cards
- Bank confirmation, etc.
- Bank statements
Way of transport
- Original ticket (plane, ship, etc.)
- Driving and car license, if traveling by own car and/or a proof of renting a car, etc.
Return to origin country
- Proof of stay (ID card, residence permit)
- Confirmation from the company/school/other liable institution confirmation stating your length of employment & status and the date expected to be returned
On behalf of under age children/minors, their parents or legal guardians must apply (or parents must give power of attorney to accredited agent to apply in their behalf). Except the standard required documents to apply with, Birth Certificates of minors should be submitted. If the minor is traveling without his/her parent/s or legal guardian/s, the Letter of Confirmation from his/her parents or legal guardian/s should be submitted. This Letter of Confirmation should inform on the person who will be traveling with the minor and will be in charge for him/her, purpose of traveling as well as the time period of traveling. Letter of Confirmation must be signed by minor’s legal guardians, legalized by public notary and translated to Croatian language. If the minor who is traveling to Croatia does not travel with his/her parents/legal guardians, he/she will not be permitted to enter the Republic of Croatia without the Letter of Confirmation.

Processing visa fees (Tar. No. 78):
1. Air-transit visa USD 49.00
2. Transit visa USD 49.00
3. Travel visa USD 49.00
4. Urgent issuance of the visa (3 days), for emergency only USD 97.00

NOTE:
- For the member of the family of a Croatian passport holder visa is free (spouse/children)
- For the child under 6 years old visa is free
- For the member of the family using the same passport as the passport holder no extra fees
- Kindly note that these are processing visa fees, not the “price” of visa, have to be paid when the application is submitted, are not refundable in the event the visa is denied, and do not guarantee that visa will be issued.
- Payment must be transferred to the Embassy’s account and the original or copy of the bank transfer form should be submitted in order to initiate processing.
- We do not accept cash, checks or bank drafts.
- Process is 15 days.
